Martha Ray Day, 60, of Du Quoin, passed away at 3:08 A.M., Sunday, January 16, 2005 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Martha was a Tool Crib Attendant at TUMS for thirty-two years.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She was a member of Service Employees International Union.
She was born August 10, 1944 at Herrin, IL, the daughter of Denzil and Dixie Mae (Waller) O'Dell.
She married William J. Day on August 11, 1962 at Christopher, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, two sons - William Kenneth Day of Hoffman Estates, IL and Michael Patrick Day of Du Quoin, her mother - Dixie Mae O'Dell of Du Quoin, one brother - Wayne O'Dell of Marseilles, IL, one sister - Joyce Sears of Ft. Smith, AR, and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother - Jackson O'Dell.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin and from 7 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
